2012 will be a great year for tourism in Georgia because many obstacles of infrastructure are history. Imagine, now we have Georgia on Google maps, good roads, many renovated tourists spots as well as lots of hidden gems in the country where no one yet goes. Georgia is extremely open to every foreigner visiting the country, no matter where he's from. Georgian hospitality counts for every guest not regarding color, religion, origin, whatever. Most countries do not need a Visa to enter Georgia and it is even very easy to set up your own business here.




Georgians are proud to live in one of the brightest countries of the world regarding history and culture, tradition and innovation as well as natural diversity, delicious food and wine. Georgia is not the cheapest destination anymore but by far not expensive yet. Welcome to Georgia !

The Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia and The Tbilisi City Hall are pleased to present the personal exhibition by Irma Sharikadze Sky as Crown. The photo project Sky as Crown presents the beautiful Georgian landscape, while ethnocultural symbols elaborate the modern concept of Georgian woman.

The project consists of 29 photos. Irma Sharikadze invited leading Georgian designers to the photo sessions, which were held in open air in different regions of Georgia: Svaneti, Tusheti, Ozurgeti, Kazbegi, Sagarejo, Telavi, and Shatili.

Irma Sharikadze: „My aim was to liberate the concept of Georgian woman from stereotypical chains. Georgian woman is a bearer of energy, temperament, boldness and eroticism; she organically shares European aesthetics, being capable of enriching the latter with her unique flavor at the same time. The beauty of the modern Georgian woman harmoniously amalgamates with the Georgian landscape and decorates herself with the Georgian sky as a crown, as it was conceived from the beginning.”

Irma Sharikadze will show her amazing photo series 2012 in Paris, France and in The Netherlands.

Kinzwisi, Kintsvisi, Kinzwissi, is located close to the town of Kareli in the Gori district in Kartli, it can be reached from Tbilisi in 1,5 hours, approx. 90 km.
