On the second image is seen a little damage, that has no remarkable effect on the beautiful sound and can be repaired by a specialist easily.

Please note that this is not a Sicilian mandolin as in "Sicilian" type of mandolin - this one hasn't got enough strings.
The damage to the soundboard seems severe enough to avoid use before a good repare. I've seen smaller wear cause a full and unreparable breakage.
